Matt Spracklen has joined CountryLine Radio to host the mid-morning show.
Matt studied in music city Nashville Tennessee, and as well as presenting on TV and radio, he can also be found on stage hosting country music events.
Matt said: “I’m very excited to be joining CountryLine. I’ve seen the love and respect the country music community has for CountryLine for a long time and am looking forward to building something special. I’ll also be continuing to shine a light on all things British country even more than I ever have before.“
Matt will complete the fresh line-up on the former Chris Country service that sees Mikey Faulkner on breakfast, John Collins on drive and Liam Scott on evenings.
Simon Walker CEO added: “We’re delighted to bring Matt’s passion and experience to CountryLine. He’ll be essential listening for country fans in UK and, as we grow our product offering globally, watch out for a podcast launching later this year with Matt at the helm.”
In other changes, John Collins takes on the role of senior presenter. And as CountryLine integrates its business further, Chris Rick widens his responsibilities as General Manager for CountryLine and in addition assumes the position as Head of Audio.
