Lomond Radio’s youngest presenter turns 10 years old

Lomond Radio will be celebrating the 10th birthday of its youngest presenter Ruairidh Mac soon.

Ruairidh presents Lomond Radio Kids Edition every Monday evening between 6pm and 7pm playing an hour of hand-picked songs.

He’ll be on air on Monday 27th February as usual which happens to be his 10th Birthday.

Ruairidh has been with the station since he was eight and enjoys playing his eclectic selection of music – everything from Ava Max to The Beatles.

Ruairidh’s dad, Charlie, is also a presenter at the station and loves mentoring him.

“He really enjoys making people happy. He particularly loves the music of Rick Astley and dreams of one day meeting his idol,” he said.

Lomond Radio Director Alan Caldwell added: “You can really hear how much Ruairidh has grown in confidence since starting his show. He has a wide taste in music for someone so young.”
