Chris Ward has been appointed Group Operational Director at Bauer Media Audio UK.
His new role with the content and music team follows the news it will launch new audio brand and product Rayo in the UK this year.
Reporting to Chief Content and Music Officer Ben Cooper, Chris will manage and deliver a range of projects as structures and processes are simplified across all radio stations in the group.
Chris has 18 years of experience in the radio industry, including 10 years with Bauer Media. His expertise in strategic planning and change management will be at the forefront of this new position.
Commenting on his appointment, Chris said: “I am thrilled to take on a new role, leading the operations and production teams at Bauer Media as we continue to expand our portfolio of stations.
“It’s an exciting time for the radio industry and I look forward to working with our talented teams and building upon our successes as we navigate the rapidly evolving media landscape.”
