Happy Radio UK is to further expand its coverage on DAB across the North West later this month.
The station is, which is currently on DAB in Manchester, Cheshire, Merseyside, North Wales and Blackpool, will be available on the new DAB Radio multiplexes for Stockport, Preston, Warrington and Mid Cheshire.
Co-founders Darren Proctor and Max Eden said: “We are focused on getting uninterrupted DAB coverage of Happy Radio throughout the North West of England.
“When we launched back in April 2022, we set out to deliver an uplifting feel good radio station playing ‘The Songs That Make You Smile’ that delivers local content from well-known heritage presenters with high end production and extensive music variety.
“We are incredibly proud of what we have created and developed with Happy Radio and want to ensure that people all over the North West can tune in and enjoy Happy Radio.”
