Radio Marsden is putting on a comedy night to help raise money for the hospital broadcasting service.
Five stand-up comedians will perform at The Harlequin Theatre in Redhill on Tuesday 14th November.
MC Matt Stellingwerf will be joined by Tiff Stevenson (Mock the Week & 8 Out of 10 Cats), Aaron Simmonds (Russell Howard Hour), Ali Woods (Award winning comedian, podcaster & content creator) and Jonny Awsum (Britain’s Got Talent Semi Finalist).
Former Kiss FM and Capital Radio DJ, Dave Goodings, will be getting the party started from 7pm with his DJ set in the theatre bar and he will keep the energy going during the interval.
Radio Marsden volunteer and one of the event organisers, Chris Simms, said: “Like many small charities in the UK, Radio Marsden has had to start thinking differently in recent years about how to raise the money required to keep the station on air.
“I’ve been a volunteer at Radio Marsden for 27 years and as a huge fan of stand up comedy I am thrilled to be bringing this line up together for a fantastic night of fundraising.”
Radio Marsden is the Hospital Radio Station for The Royal Marsden Cancer Hospitals in Sutton and Chelsea.
