Presenters hosting the shared afternoons programmes across BBC local radio stations in the West Midlands have been revealed.
Trish Adudu will host 2pm till 6pm on BBC Radio WM and BBC CWR, whilst Toni McDonald will do the same show on BBC Radio Stoke, BBC Radio Shropshire and BBC Hereford and Worcester.
The rest of the schedules remain mostly the same across the five stations, for breakfast, mid-mornings and sports.
Kay Wright, Senior Head of Production for BBC Midlands said: “The new schedules will give our listeners a powerful line-up of popular presenters who are excited to broadcast, inform and entertain audiences where they live.
“This, teamed with our new investigative news teams, will ensure that audiences across the region get a strong local offering across radio, tv and online.”
Here’s how the schedules look from Monday 9th October:
On BBC WM Rakeem Omar continues Breakfast and it’s Kath Stanczyszyn (Mon -Thurs) and Elise Evans (Fri) on day times 10am-2pm.
On BBC CWR, it’s Phil Upton on Breakfast followed by Vic Minett on daytimes 10am-2pm.
On BBC Radio Stoke it’s Lee Blakeman on Breakfast and then followed by Stuart George on daytimes 10am-2pm.
On BBC Radio Shropshire it’s Adam Green on Breakfast followed by Clare Ashford on daytimes 10am-2pm.
On BBC Hereford & Worcester it’s Tammy Gooding on Breakfast followed by Elliott Webb on daytimes from 10am-2pm.
Sport
BBC Hereford & Worcester sport with Malcolm Boyden (Mon and Fri 6pm-7pm)
BBC WM sport with Daz Hale (Tues-Fri evenings and Saturday afternoons).
Weeknights from 7pm (Broadcasting across the region)
Monday – Gagan Grewal.
Tuesday – Arun Verma (from Tuesday 7th November), Letitia George until then.
