Magic Radio has flipped its playlist to 100% Christmas with non-stop Christmas music planned till Midnight on 26th December.
Breakfast hosts Ronan Keating and Harriet Scott joined Lorraine on TV yesterday live from the Magic studio, which is currently dressed as a festive ski lodge, and said: “We have more than 600 hours of Christmas songs planned between now and Boxing Day.
“It’s a brave thing to do, it’s our main station and we’re going 100% Christmas… come in on the journey you’re going to love it.”
The launch follows on from the station’s Magic of Christmas event at the London Palladium over the weekend, with performances from the likes of Emeli Sandé, Simply Red, Rick Astley and more, as well as a special rendition of ‘Fairytale of New York’ from Ronan Keating and Lucie Jones.
Bauer has been switching Magic to 100% Christmas every year since 2018.
