BBC Radio Berkshire breakfast presenter Andrew Peach is leaving the station after 31 years.
Andrew started his radio life at WM in 89 after winning a listener competition, and went on to join BBC Radio Oxford in 91.
Since settling in Berkshire in 1992, he’s also been heard on BBC Radio 2, reading the news for Chris Evans, presented programmes on 5 Live, Radio 4 and the World Service.
He said today: “After 31 years, I’m leaving Radio Berkshire. It has been the privilege of my life: a daily radio show is above all a relationship with listeners, laughing and crying together.
“I am so grateful to everyone who tuned in and to the talented producers whose work made a real difference.”
He says he’s not leaving radio but thinks its time for him to find some different mountains to climb.
Andrew has won numerous awards and even received a message of congratulations from Prime Minister Theresa May after 25 years on Radio Berkshire.
