Television presenters Ant and Dec have revealed how they almost hosted the breakfast show on BBC Radio 1.
Speaking to Jordan North and Katie Thistleton, the pair said they gave the audition a go but thought they’d be too busy to host the show full time.
But Dec said it went really well, and they really enjoyed it, adding that they were getting excited about it.
From the conversation, it appears they had the audition around 24 years ago when Zoe Ball was on the breakfast show.
Then Sara Cox was announced as the new presenter and they moved on.
Rumours at the time suggested Ant and Dec were being considered for the show but nothing has even been officially confirmed.
