Happy Radio has hired Fiona Sadler and Alex Roland to host evening and overnight programmes.
Fiona will host a brand new Evening Show from 7-10pm whilst ‘Up All Night with Alex Roland’ will air from 1-5am Monday to Thursday.
Fiona Sadler joins Happy Radio having worked on various radio stations from Heat to Heart, Capital to Key 103 and says: “I’m so excited to be joining Happy Radio, to be joining such a brilliant line up of heritage presenters from Steve Penk and Spence Macdonald to Paul Crone and Darren Proctor; I’m in wonderful company!’
Existing Presenter Andy Hoyle will now head up the Late Show from 10pm to 1am.
Former Key 103, Metro and Signal presenter Alex Roland says: “I’ve always been bit of a nighthawk and broadcasting after 1am takes you into a world of night workers, stay up very laters, or the very early risers after 4am – hence I’m calling my new show “Up All Night”.
“Plus, I’m doing it on a superb platform with Happy Radio going 24/7 for the first time in its short 18 month history.”
Co-owners Darren Proctor and Max Eden added: “We’re thrilled to add two more brilliant broadcasters to our presenter line up, Fiona has a wicked sense of humour and Alex is a fantastic presenter and we’re looking forward to them joining the team.”
