Capital Scotland has hired Laura Anderson to co-host the Breakfast Show with Fat Brestovci.
Known for appearing on Love Island, Laura has had a number of entertainment roles since leaving the villa, but this is her first radio presenting gig.
This follows the news that singer and co-host Tallia Storm recently quit the show, a year after joining the station, to move back to London.
Laura said: “This is a real dream come true! I’m thrilled to be joining Fat every weekday morning. I’m no stranger to early mornings thanks to my daughter so I’m excited to now be waking up Scotland!”
Mark Lee, Communicorp UK’s Chief Executive Officer commented: “Laura’s enthusiasm will wake up the nation on Scotland’s Number 1 Hit Music Station and along with Fat, will make sure the audience is very much entertained. Laura and Fat are a great combination, full of energy and we can’t wait for them to get started!”
Capital Breakfast with Fat Brestovci and Laura Anderson starts on 8th April.
