TV and radio presenter Nino Firetto has joined south coast DAB and online station Victory, to host a new weekend show.
Firetto worked at Radio Victory in the late 70s at the start of his career, before going on to host on Radio Luxembourg and Radio West, plus various TV shows.
“I’m excited to be re-joining the team at Victory,” says Nino. “They have a clear vision for the station, and a relentless ambition to create an output that emulates all that was good about radio when the original Victory was on air.
“I have such fond memories of my time at Radio Victory. Early in my career it was a great place to understand what radio is all about, and how important it is to the local area.
“The new version of the station sounds brilliant – the original jingles, music I can relate to, and a few of my former colleagues already on board.”
