Ofcom publishes Community Radio Fund end of year report

The Community Radio Fund report for 2023-24 has been published Ofcom.

DCMS provides a sum of money each year for the Fund which is administered by Ofcom to give grants to community stations to help with core costs.

The latest report shows that in the first round, grants totalling £213,433 were awarded to 13 stations and grants totalling £257,832 were awarded to 14 stations in the second round.

Grants over the course of the year ranged from £5,300 to £28,000, with an average payment of £17,454 grants were awarded in total across both rounds of funding. A total of 27 grants were awarded across the two rounds of funding.
