Scott Mills is unexpectedly covering the BBC Radio 2 Breakfast Show as Zoe Ball takes some time off.
Last Friday, Zoe didn’t present her show, with Gaby Roslin sitting in and this morning Scott was covering the show. He started by saying: “Good morning. You weren’t expecting me were you? Welcome to Monday, it’s Scott Mills.”
He also confirmed that he’s filling for Zoe for the next few weeks and added: “I’m sending you all my love Zo’, as are the team.”
Zoe had recently returned to the show after taking time off to care for her mother.
A BBC spokesperson told RadioToday: “Zoe is taking time off and will return in September”.
