Classic FM Live with Viking will celebrate some of the most famous classical music from the British Isles, in a concert at the Royal Albert Hall.
Taking place on Monday 21st October, the concert will include British classics performed by the Philharmonia Orchestra, an official partner of the station, conducted by Ben Palmer.
There will also be performances from a special line-up of musicians. These include pianist Jeneba Kanneh-Mason, Classic FM Rising Stars, violinist Nathan Amaral and royal harpist Alis Huws, plus young cellist Sterling Elliott and the winner of Channel 4’s The Piano, Brad Kella.
A world premiere performance of a new piece composed by Classic FM’s Composer in Residence Debbie Wiseman will be narrated by Alan Titchmarsh.
One of the station’s long-term partners, Viking is sponsoring the event which will be hosted by Alexander Armstrong, Dan Walker and Myleene Klass.
