Gold gets new branding and changes to All Time Classics strapline

Global’s Gold is now officially known as Gold Radio with a new logo, new strapline and new jingles.

The Greatest Hits of all Time strapline has been replaced by “All Time Classics” and a new website displays the new bolder logo and branding.

James Bassam remains on Breakfast, whilst David Andrews hosts at the weekends.

New jingles sing Gold Radio instead of This is Gold, created by Ashley Bard, Group Head of Audio Operations & Brand Sound Design at Global.

A spokesperson said: “Gold Radio has a fresh identity with a new strapline that captures the core proposition of the station, appealing to a wide range of music lovers, while its new logo has a clearer, stronger and fresher identity for Gold Radio.”
