Patrick Eade returns with a special on Radio Caroline

Broadcaster Patrick Eade is making a special guest broadcast from the Ross Revenge on Radio Caroline.

Patrick has been broadcasting since 1975 and was at the start of Radio Orwell in the area, and will be back on-air this weekend.

He’s also worked at Wiltshire Radio, BFBS, Blue Danube Radio, Ipswich 102 and back again in Suffolk as a Volunteer at Hospital Radio Ipswich, with ICR FM.

“It’s such a privilege to be invited aboard,” said Patrick. “I can’t wait to join the Caroline team for a great weekend from the home of radio.”

Radio Caroline broadcasts from land-based studios, but returns to Ross Revenge one weekend each month for an offshore broadcast from the Blackwater Estuary, featuring music from the 1960s to 1990s.

Tune in on Saturday 14 and Sunday 15 September on 648 AM, online and on the app for the special shows.
