Trossachs Radio opens new facility in Callander

Loch Lomond and The Trossachs National Park online station Trossachs Radio is opening new studios and retail operation in Callander.

The station is to be opened by Dina Andrews who has presented her “Pink Cowgirl Radio Show” weekly on the station since it started streaming online in 2022.

Dina is a country singer and songwriter and represents Scotland for the International Singers and Songwriters Association (ISSA).

Trossachs Radio owner Edward Cullum reflected on the situation that there was no radio station providing essential local information and was exclusively for Loch Lomond and the Trossachs National Park area.

The station intends to open a retail store from 14th September called “Scobbies (Scobys) Records” selling vinyl records and accessories. The shop will also sell Trossachs Radio merchandise to help fund the station, manned solely by volunteers.

The new venture plans to reach out to people looking for an opportunity to gain experience in media studies and broadcasting.
