Cornwall’s Rewind Radio celebrated its 3rd birthday today and announced new offices and an upcoming charity Radiothon.
The station is expanding its offices to accommodate new staff as it continues to provide a local radio service for the region.
In addition, a Radiothon is taking place on the 31st of October 2024 to raise money and awareness to three charities to include HD Livin’ Cornwall Hospice Care and Penhaligon’s Friends, sponsored by Focus Technology based in Redruth, and Carers Break CIC, a nonprofit dedicated to supporting caregivers across Cornwall.
The Radiothon will feature special segments, interviews, auction, and music to raise funds and awareness for local charities, bringing the community together for a great cause.
Rewind Radio is also agreed a new partnership with BYD Truro, part of City West Motors based in Tresillian. As part of this collaboration, BYD has gifted Managing Director Richard Woods a brand new BYD Seal.
Richard Woods expressed his excitement for the future: “Rewind Radio has come so far in just three years, and I’m incredibly proud of what we’ve achieved as a team.
