Former radio presenter and television host Henry Kelly has died aged 78

Broadcaster Henry Kelly has died at the age of 78 after a period of ill health.

Henry was one of the original presenters on Classic FM when it launched in 1992, hosting mid-mornings before moving on till the breakfast show.

He’s also worked at LBC and BBC Radio London, and BBC Radio Berkshire.

Henry was also well know for his television work, hosting Game for a Laugh, breakfast television, and Going for Gold in the 1980s.

He started his career in Dublin after attending University there, by working at the Irish Times before heading to London to work for BBC Radio 4.
