Heat Mallorca treadmill quiz raises funds for local charities

English-speaking station Heat Mallorca has raised money for local charities with a live Treadmill Trivia event.

The quiz, held at the station’s studios, involved presenters answering questions while colleagues ran on treadmills. If they answered incorrectly, the treadmills sped up.

The event was designed to be fun to watch while raising awareness and funds for island-based charities. Listeners tuned in digitally from the UK and beyond, with the station encouraging donations throughout the show.

It marks the start of Heat Mallorca’s summer campaign to support the local community through a series of charity-focused events. The station is now in its third year on the island, run by a team with a background in UK radio.

Weekday presenter Kirsty Sutherland said: “It was an incredibly fun way to bring our presenters, listeners, and the local community together for a great cause.”

More events are planned over the coming months as the station continues its summer of giving.

Listeners can tune in online or visit heatmallorca.com for details on how to support the fundraising efforts.
