Former Capital Breakfast host Roman Kemp and singer Tom Grennan have teamed up for a new BBC podcast series called You About?
Commissioned by BBC Radio 5 Live and produced by Insanity Studios, the podcast features real conversations between the two close friends on life, friendship and everything in between.
Roman Kemp said, “It’s not very planned, but that’s what makes it feel real.”
Tom Grennan added, “It’s a proper chance for people to see who we really are.”
The pair met at a gym in 2018 and have stayed close ever since. Each episode features honest, unscripted chats covering topics like mental health, music, football, relationships and celebrity stories.
Richard Maddock, Commissioning Editor at BBC Radio 5 Live, said, “Their conversations are genuine, authentic and hilarious.”
Both presenters have a shared interest in mental health, which will be a regular theme throughout the show.
Bonus episodes will also be available exclusively on BBC Sounds every week.
The first episode will be released on Tuesday, 20 May.
