Becky Measures is the new voice of weekday mornings on BBC Radio Derby as Twiggy moves to weekends.
She now hosts the Breakfast show from 6am to 10am, following the move of Andy Twigge to weekend mornings across BBC Radio Derby, BBC Radio Nottingham and BBC Radio Leicester.
Becky has worked in both commercial and BBC Local Radio for more than two decades.
Becky said: “I’m so excited to get stuck into the Breakfast show and build something that’s local, warm and unforgettable. I’m Derbyshire through and through.”
Twiggy said: “Getting up five days a week at 3.30am was becoming more difficult and my dog would like to see more of me. Becky is great fun and she’ll be great fun on Breakfast. The audience will love her as I do and I can’t wait for the Weekends.”
Twiggy’s new show will also air 6am to 10am and sees him return to familiar ground, having previously worked on Trent FM, Ram FM, Oak FM and Capital.
