
Bryan Adams and Def Leppard will headline Radio 2 in the Park 2025 at Hylands Park in Chelmsford from Friday 5 to Sunday 7 September.
The three-day BBC event, announced on the Scott Mills Breakfast Show, also features performances from Stereophonics, Jessie J, Belinda Carlisle, Anastacia, Ronan Keating, Marti Pellow, and more.
Bryan Adams tops Saturday’s bill, while Def Leppard close the festival on Sunday with their only UK appearance of the year. A Friday night DJ party with Radio 2 presenters including Vernon Kay, Rylan and Scott Mills will start the weekend.
Jeff Smith, Head of Music for Radio 2, said: “It’s the station’s biggest music event of the year and we can’t wait to bring this stellar selection of globally renowned artists to Chelmsford in September.”
Listeners will be able to follow all the performances on Radio 2, BBC Sounds and BBC iPlayer.
Saturday’s line-up includes Bryan Adams, Stereophonics, Jessie J, Ella Henderson, Marti Pellow, Belinda Carlisle, Kid Creole & The Coconuts and Ronan Keating.
Sunday features Def Leppard, Suede, Anastacia, Soul II Soul, David Gray, Louise and Sophie Ellis-Bextor.
Artists performing have shared their enthusiasm ahead of the weekend. Bryan Adams said: “This will be my first time performing in Chelmsford… I’m thrilled to be part of this event.”
Def Leppard added: “We are very much looking forward to headlining on the Sunday… It’ll be a fantastic weekend.”
Stereophonics, fresh from their ninth number one album, said: “We are looking forward to Radio 2 in the Park… big shows and big songs.”
