Radio presenters Jo Whiley and Zoe Ball to host new podcast together

Jo Whiley and Zoe Ball are teaming up for the first time to host a joint podcast, produced by Persephonica.

The show will feature the pair in open and unfiltered conversation, talking about everything from family life and careers to ageing, gardening, health habits, and home improvements.

Described as a chance to lift the curtain on “the messy and beautiful reality of living well,” the show will include two new episodes each week, along with bonus content for subscribers. It will also be fully visualised on YouTube.

Listeners can expect occasional guests, with friends joining to discuss shared experiences across home life, work, and relationships. The tone of the podcast aims to reflect the presenters’ real-life catchups and connection with their audiences over the decades.

Jo said: “Starting a podcast with one of my oldest broadcasting friends, Zoe, is SO exciting. The show will open a world of conversation on topics we don’t normally discuss on air and will bring us much closer to the listeners and fans who have made our careers so special.”

Zoe added: “We’ve grown up together, personally and professionally, along with our listeners. We’re chatting about our week, wild kids, ageing, what’s for dinner, digging, music obsessions, grief and everything in between. No scripts, no gloss, just real talk, real laughs and a bit of beautiful mayhem.”

The show will be produced by Persephonica, known for titles such as The News Agents, Miss Me?, and Dua Lipa: At Your Service.

Fiona Hanlon, Managing Director at Persephonica, said: “We’re going to learn, laugh and probably cry a lot together over the coming months and years.”

The podcast will be available on all major platforms from mid-July 2025.
