Fix Radio launches new podcast series for UK tradeswomen

Fix Radio is launching its first podcast focused entirely on women working in the trades.

‘Tradeswomen Together with Hattie & Steph’ will start later this month and be released every two weeks.

The show will explore key issues affecting tradeswomen, including pay, workplace culture, mental health, training, and the experience of working in male-dominated environments. It also aims to encourage more women to consider a career on the tools.

Presented by Hattie Hasan MBE and Steph Leese, the podcast will be available on Spotify, Apple and other podcast platforms. Hattie founded Stopcocks Women Plumbers and the Register of Tradeswomen. Steph is widely known in the trade community as The Pink Plasterer.

Fix Radio’s Programme Director Andy Shier said: “We have been looking to start this podcast for a long time, and we’re delighted to have two of the most respected tradeswomen in the industry coming on board for it.”

Fix Radio already produces eight other trade-focused shows and says this series will bring new perspectives to its growing content.
