A tidy tuck for Bauer’s podcast plans

Bauer Media has confirmed the acquisition of the beauty and lifestyle podcast Nip Tuck, expanding its creator-led audio portfolio.

The agreement brings the show under Bauer’s commercial representation while keeping it free to listen across major podcast platforms, including the broadcaster’s Rayo app, as the company continues to invest in distinctive voices within spoken-word audio.

Hosted by best friends Ashley Stobart and Lauren Harris, Nip Tuck launched in 2021 and has developed a loyal following through candid conversations about modern life, friendships and personal experiences, alongside discussions on beauty trends, treatments and product recommendations, delivered in an open and unfiltered style.

Under the partnership, Bauer Media will manage commercial activity across new episodes and the podcast’s existing back catalogue, supporting the show’s next phase while allowing the hosts to retain their editorial voice and format.

Ashley and Lauren said the move marked a natural progression for the podcast after several years of steady growth, adding that working with Bauer would allow them to build on what they have created while remaining true to the conversations that listeners value.

The acquisition underlines Bauer’s wider strategy of backing podcasts built around trusted presenters and clearly defined communities, while offering advertisers opportunities to work alongside established shows through host-read and integrated audio partnerships.

New episodes of Nip Tuck continue to be released weekly, with distribution remaining free to listeners via major podcast services and Bauer’s own Rayo platform.
