Geoff Lloyd has returned to Virgin Radio UK for a weekday show as the station confirms a refreshed on air line up from today.
The updated schedule also includes musician and DJ Huey Morgan, who joins the station to host weekend mornings with a new programme, The Huey Show.
After almost two decades at the BBC, Huey will broadcast live from the Top of the Tower every Saturday and Sunday from 10am to 2pm. His first programme will air at 10am on Saturday 10th January, marking his debut on the station.
Huey said: “I am so excited to be part of Virgin Radio at this very important moment in its history and will endeavour to bring all the best music to the listeners every weekend.”
The changes form part of a wider refresh at Virgin Radio UK for this year, with several presenters joining or moving into new slots. Emma B, Geoff Lloyd and Goldierocks are all confirmed as part of the 2026 line up.
It means a number of presenters have also left the schedule recently, including Sean Goldsmith, Olivia Jones, Jayne Middlemiss, Ryan Tubridy, Tom Allen, Angela Scanlon, Dick n Dom, Harpz Kaar, Rich Williams and Graeme Smith.
Following a New Year’s Eve set on the station, Ana Matronic will now host Saturday nights from 6pm to 10pm. Her move adds a new regular voice to the weekend evening schedule.
From January to March, Alex James will present Britpop Classics on Sunday evenings from 6pm to 8pm, focusing on music from the era closely associated with his career.
Weekdays will continue to feature The Chris Evans Breakfast Show with The National Lottery, followed by Emma B in mid mornings and Ben Jones in the afternoon. Geoff will present evenings from Monday to Thursday, with Stu Elmore on Fridays.
New station imaging and audio production has also been introduced today.
