WorldDAB sets out international events schedule
WorldDAB has confirmed the international events and conferences it will attend during the first half of this year, offering broadcasters and industry partners opportunities to discuss the development and benefits of DAB+.
The organisation says the programme brings together major media forums, radio conferences and technical seminars, alongside its own flagship automotive event, giving radio professionals multiple chances to engage directly with WorldDAB experts about the future of digital radio and in-car listening.
The schedule begins in early February with the Saudi Media Forum in Riyadh, running from 2 to 4 February, where WorldDAB will be present in person as part of the wider international media discussion taking place in the region.
WorldDAB will also attend the Paris Radio Show on 3 and 4 February in France, where delegates will be able to visit the organisation on the exhibition floor and speak directly with its team.
In March, attention turns to Radiodays Europe, which takes place from 22 to 24 March in Riga, Latvia, a key annual gathering for radio, audio and podcast professionals from across Europe and beyond.
In Asia, WorldDAB is set to take part in ABU DBS from 30 March to 2 April in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, with involvement across a booth presence, a workshop and a conference session, reflecting the growing interest in digital radio standards across the region.
A Spectrum and Networking Implementation Committee seminar is also planned in Geneva, Switzerland, with the date still to be confirmed, and is expected to take place in a hybrid format, allowing both in-person and online participation.
The first half of the calendar concludes with WorldDAB Automotive on 10 and 11 June in Frankfurt, Germany, focusing on the role of broadcast radio within connected and hybrid vehicles, an area of continued importance for the radio industry.
WorldDAB says additional dates will be added as the year progresses.
