ARIAS extends submissions deadline to 16 February
Radio and audio producers now have extra time to finalise entries for this year’s ARIAS awards.
The submission deadline has been extended to 11.59pm on Monday 16 February 2026, giving entrants an additional window to complete and refine their work before judging begins.
The organisers said the decision was made in recognition of the time and care required to prepare entries, and to ensure as many eligible teams and individuals as possible are able to take part.
The extension applies to all ARIAS categories and replaces the previously advertised closing date.
In a short statement accompanying the change, the awards team said: “We know how much thought goes into your ARIAS entries,” adding that the move is intended to give everyone the chance to submit their strongest work for consideration.
The ARIAS scheme recognises achievement across UK radio and audio, spanning on-air talent, production, podcasts and technical craft. Entries are assessed by an industry judging panel, with shortlisted work announced ahead of the awards ceremony later in the year.
Those planning to submit are being encouraged to use the extra time to review eligibility criteria, ensure supporting material is complete, and confirm submissions ahead of the revised deadline. No further changes to the timetable have been announced.
