Prince of Wales joins BBC Radio 1 for mental health discussion
The Prince of Wales has joined BBC Radio 1’s Life Hacks for a special programme focused on mental health and male suicide.
The episode, hosted by Greg James, features a panel discussion exploring the issue and sharing personal experiences.
Taking part alongside The Prince were Allan Brownrigg, Director of Clinical Services at James’ Place charity, rapper and mental health activist Professor Green, grime artist and mental health activist Guvna B, and Nathan, a young person who spoke about his own experiences.
The programme follows His Royal Highness and The Royal Foundation launching a National Suicide Prevention Network last autumn, aimed at transforming suicide prevention across the four nations of the UK.
Life Hacks is BBC Radio 1’s weekly show dedicated to open and frank discussion about issues affecting young people, regularly bringing together experts and those with lived experience.
The special episode is available now on BBC Sounds, BBC iPlayer and YouTube. It will also be broadcast on BBC Radio 1 this evening at 8pm.
