
Radio 1 Dance Awards 2026 celebrate UK dance music stars
Radio 1 DJs have announced the winners of the 2026 Radio 1 Dance Awards, recognising standout talent across the UK dance music scene.
The ceremony honoured artists, DJs and venues that made an impact over the past year, with PinkPantheress, Disclosure, Jazzy and KETTAMA among those receiving awards.
Four categories were decided by public vote, while others were selected by a panel of Radio 1 Dance DJs and producers.
Danny Howard said: “I’m so excited the Radio 1 Dance Awards are back as it’s our chance to shine a light on all corners of the scene that contribute great things to our community and music.
“If there’s one takeaway looking at all the nominations; it’s that dance and electronic music is thriving more than I’ve ever known.”
Jazzy won MC or Vocalist of the Year, while Josh Baker was named Breakthrough DJ of the Year. KETTAMA took DJ of the Year and Disclosure received the Outstanding Contribution to Dance Music award. PinkPantheress’s Fancy That was Music Project of the Year, and Saffron was recognised as Culture Champion.
Public vote winners included Carl Cox for Essential Mix of the Year recorded at UNVRS, Ibiza, THÊ DEPØ in Plymouth for Grassroots Venue of the Year, The Warehouse Project in Manchester for Major Venue of the Year, and Victory Lap by Fred again.., Skepta and PlaqueBoyMax as Track of the Year.
The awards show featured Sarah Story, Pete Tong and special guests.
