STV Radio, Bauer and Global lined up for Edinburgh radio event

Heart Scotland’s breakfast team and STV Radio will headline Radiocentre’s Tuning In Scotland event in Edinburgh next month.

The industry gathering takes place on Wednesday 18th March at Everyman Edinburgh, bringing together broadcasters, brands and creative leaders for a morning of discussion focused on the Scottish market.

Des Clarke, Adele and Grado from Heart Scotland Breakfast will appear alongside Global’s Andy Everett to discuss launching a refreshed breakfast show in a competitive market following last summer’s changes.

STV Radio will be represented by Commercial Director Danielle Kelly and breakfast presenter Ewen Cameron, who will join James McLernon from Lime to explore the impact of brand partnerships, including Lime’s sponsorship of the STV Radio Football Show.

Radiocentre’s Head of Insight Donna Burns will present new findings from the expanded study Radio: The Performance Multiplier – The Amplified Edit. She will be joined by Elaine Gilmour from Tesco Insurance and Money Services to outline how radio formed part of their strategy within the research.

Bauer Media Audio UK’s Director of Digital Charlie Brookes will outline the development of AudioXi and its role in unifying digital audio advertising across radio, podcasts and streaming.

The event will be opened and chaired by Radiocentre Chief Executive Matt Payton, who will provide a market update and set out policy priorities for the year ahead.

Lucy Barrett said: “This year’s event will showcase the strength of radio and audio in Scotland, from on-air talent and creativity to commercial innovation and effectiveness.”

Tuning In Scotland begins at 9:15am and runs until 12.15pm. Places can be reserved here.
