Marvin Humes joins Hits Radio to host new weekday show

Marvin Humes will host weekday afternoons on Hits Radio from mid-April.

His first appearance on the station will be on Bank Holiday Monday 6th April at 4pm as part of the station’s Top 300 Countdown from the 00s to now.

From Monday 13th April, Marvin takes over the 1pm to 4pm slot each weekday, with his first show featuring a chat with BRITs and MOBO award-winner, Olivia Dean.

Marvin said: “I cannot wait to get started on Hits Radio. We’ve got some big plans for the show and I’m excited for everyone to hear it.”

He will also continue on KISSTORY with a new Sunday show from 4pm to 7pm.

Current Hits Radio afternoon presenter Hattie Pearson is moving to KISSTORY mornings, hosting between 10am and 1pm from Bauer’s Manchester studios, while remaining part of the wider team.

Paul Gerrard said Marvin is “a perfect fit for Hits Radio” and added he was pleased Hattie would continue with a new programme on KISSTORY.

He also said that he is delighted Hattie will be staying as part of the team with new show on KISSTORY.

Harriet Rose will leave KISS after six years, with her final show scheduled for Sunday 5 April.

Paul said: “We’re sorry to be saying goodbye to Harriet Rose who has been such an incredible part of the KISS story, but wish her well.”
