Stuart Grant joins Heart Surrey and Sussex

Former Vibe FM programmer Stuart Grant is joining Global Radio as Programme Controller for Heart Surrey and Sussex.

Grant has spent the last 14 years at what is now Kiss in the East of England, most recently presenting breakfast until the all programmes became shared with the London Kiss station earlier this year.

He’ll join Heart from a week on Monday (5th September) and replaces Tony Aldridge who is leaving the station after 11 years as PC to go travelling.

Stuart told RadioToday.co.uk: “I am looking forward to joining the team at Heart and I am very excited by the prospect of continuing to build the audience across the region. It’s a great station and I feel very lucky to be the leading the team.”

Heart’s Group Programme Director Luis Clark added: “Stuart’s enthusiasm, creativity and impressive track record of over 20 years’ experience in broadcasting will help drive Heart to greater success throughout Sussex & Surrey. We are delighted to welcome him to the Heart family.”
