Comedian Peter Kay left Radio 1 presenter Vernon Kay in fits of laughter after he suggested he and fellow Radio 1 DJs listen to Smooth Radio when they aren’t working.
“Fern, Edith, and Chris.. and you.. You all listen to Smooth, no two ways about it,” he said live on-air on Saturday morning.
The remark came about after Peter suggested Veron plays some “noise for the kids,” talking about the modern music the station usually plays.
Vernon then went on to say he would get the boot if he carried on, to which Peter replied “there’s no one else snapping at your heels.”
Noticeably, he didn’t deny the accusation.
