Nominations out for Hospital Radio Awards

The nominations have been released for this year’s National Hospital Radio Awards.

Once again there are ten categories up for grabs, including the prize of being named National Station of the Year at the annual bash.

Two presenters at Plymouth Hospital Radio will go head to head for the Male Presenter of the Year title, with Keith Jolley and Andrew Hill both named in the top ten shortlist for that category.

Radio Tyneside’s 60th anniversary celebrations also sees it pick up a couple of nominations in both the Best Speech Package and Special Event categories.

The ceremony, hosted once again by Lincs FM’s Director of Programming Sean Dunderdale, will be held at the end of March at the Hospital Broadcasting Association’s annual conference in Northampton. A full list of the nominees can be found by visiting hbauk.co.uk.
