Sally Boazman, better known to millions of Radio 2 listeners as Sally Traffic, made a blooper this morning by giving out her own phone number.
The long-time Radio 2 traffic news announcer knew what she’d done as soon as it happened, explaining to presenter Graham Norton that she’s give given out the wrong number.
“Can we strike that from the record? Oh my goodness. I’m going to have to change my number now after all those years,” she said
In response, whilst trying to contain his laughter, Graham said: “That’s going on iPlayer!”
“I’m glad you find it funny when I get those weirdos phoning me up,” Sally added. “Don’t worry, nobody’s listening,” Graham joked.
