BBC Radio 5 live is planning live coverage of all England’s matches at the 2015 UEFA Under-21 Championship from the Czech Republic in June.
The tournament gets under way on Wednesday 17 June and throughout, Ian Dennis and Mark Lawrenson will take on commentary duties live from each game along with the usual mix of interviews and analysis from the BBC Radio 5 live studio.
Richard Burgess, Head of Sports News and Radio Sport at the BBC, says: “We’re delighted to be in a position to bring Radio 5 live listeners commentary of all England’s Under-21 games, building on our commitment to covering all levels of football at a tournament that will undoubtedly serve as a launch-pad for many of the stars of tomorrow.”
