UTV’s local radio stations have lined up a season of shows presented by musical stars this year including Robbie Williams and One Direction.
Robbie Williams will host a special on Christmas Eve whilst 1D will present a special show from 10am on Christmas morning.
Robbie will be followed by Olly Murs and friends taking the reins from noon to entertain listeners during Christmas lunch.
Other special programmes include JLS hosting on Christmas Eve, more One Direction on Boxing Day, followed by Lawson, Olly Murs, Ed Sheeran, The Wanted and then finally The Script on New Year’s Day.
The shows will go out on Signal in Stoke, Pulse in West Yorkshire, Tower FM in Bolton, Wish FM in Wigan and St Helens, Wire FM in Warrington, Widnes and Runcorn, Peak FM in Chesterfield, Swansea Sound and The Wave in South Wales, Radio Wave in Blackpool and Signal 107 in Wolverhampton, Shrewsbury, Oswestry, and Kidderminster.
