Scala Radio presenter Penny Smith will Chair this year’s Drive to Digital event at the British Library.
Penny will be joined by a host of expert speakers throughout the afternoon including: Miranda Sawyer, Radio and Audio Critic, The Observer, and Patricia Nicol, Media Journalist, The Sunday Times; Alison Winter, Head of Audiences, BBC Radio and Education, Mark Crawford, Head of Audience and Brand Insight, Global, and Adrian Fitch, Director of Brand Insight, Bauer; and Clare McNally-Luke, Senior Audience Performance Manager, Ofcom.
The annual free conference for the digital radio and audio industry and supply chain is happening on Wednesday 30 October 2019, with registration from 12pm and conference starts at 1pm.
Drive to Digital 2019 will showcase the UK’s new audio landscape, highlighting digital radio progress in consumers, content, cars, retail and technology, identifying changes in consumer behaviour, new ways of listening, and new audio content initiatives including the emerging on demand and podcast market.
There will be presentations from Lee Clayton, Head of talkSPORT; Ric Blaxhill, Music and Content Director, Bauer Media; Belinda Doyle, Programme Director & Ian Walker CEO, JACK Radio; Charmaine Noble-Mclean, Director of Content, Premier Christian Radio; and Tony Lit MBE, Managing Director, Sunrise Radio.
The conference will be followed by a drinks reception from 6 – 7.30pm.
