Century gets real makeover

Two regional radio stations in the north of England have changed image today as Century FM becomes Century Radio.

The brand now closely mirrors the output of 'sister station' Real Radio with the same jingles, logo and strap-line. A new website at centuryradiofm.com and realradiofm.com shows a united brand of Real and Century covering five regions of the UK – South Wales, Scotland, Yorkshire and Northwest and Northeast England.
A spokesman for GMG Radio said: "The change is being introduced to reflect the fact that both stations are available across different platforms, including on-line and digital."
