Ofcom has published the applications received for the small-scale DAB multiplex licences advertised under the fourth round of the rollout.
A total of 32 round-four applications for the 29 small-scale DAB radio multiplex licences advertised were received.
16 of the areas only have one application, whilst eight received two. Some single application areas have been rejected in the past.
No applications were submitted for Anglesey & North Gwynedd; Ards Peninsula; Durham; Kendal & Windermere; and Kintyre, Islay & Jura.
The applications are now being assessed against the Ofcom-specific statutory criteria with decisions expected in the coming months.
