Virgin Radio UK has hired broadcaster Mark Wogan for cover work on Virgin Radio Chilled.
Mark, who is Terry Wogan’s son, will present his first shows filling in on Saturday 26th October and Sunday 27th October from 6 to 10am.
He said: “I’m excited to once again embrace my status as the world’s oldest nepo baby. It’s great to have the Wogan name back on the radio and I’m delighted to be on the air with Virgin Radio UK.”
Stuart Davies, Content Manager, Virgin Radio UK said: “Mark has many stories to tell and I’m sure our listeners will enjoy his wit, style and that suave voice inherited from his dad.”
Mark also runs a pizza company on London with his brother Alan, and hosts a podcast.
