Adam Buxton and Joe Cornish reunite on Virgin Radio UK after 14 years

Adam Buxton is returning to the radio this weekend with a one-off takeover show on Virgin Radio UK.

He’ll be joined by long-time comedy partner Joe Cornish on Sunday 8th June from 10am to 1pm, marking their first time back on air together in nearly 14 years.

The show is part of a special broadcast celebrating the release of Adam’s new book I Love You, Byeee, published by HarperCollins.

Speaking ahead of the reunion, Adam said: “It’s very nice to be here. We’re not used to being on the radio. We used to be on the radio back in the day.”

Joe added: “Yeah yeah we’re a little bit rusty and cranky – in fact, that’s our new double act name, Rusty and Cranky…”

Listeners can expect a mix of conversation, humour and reflections on their years working together, with the pair previously known for their shows on Xfm and BBC Radio 6 Music.
