Bauer completes launch of audioXi in the UK market

Bauer Media Group has launched its digital audio advertising platform audioXi in the UK, completing its rollout across all nine of its European audio markets.

The move gives UK advertisers access to audioXi’s data-driven platform, which combines scale, precision targeting and premium audio inventory in one place.

The service was originally launched by Ireland’s Communicorp seven years ago, and now operates in Denmark, Sweden, Finland, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Slovakia, the UK and Ireland.

Simon Kilby, Managing Director of Bauer Advertising, said: “audioXi is now open for business to UK advertisers. The product empowers advertisers to connect with engaged listeners at scale while delivering measurable performance.”

This move follows the announcement in February that Bauer has agreed to sell its share of Octave, its previous digital advertising service, to News UK.

UK advertisers will now be able to tap into data across more than 50 of Bauer’s audio and publishing brands. This includes audiences from major UK radio stations and digital platforms.

audioXi reaches 14.5 million monthly UK listeners, representing more than half of commercial radio audiences. Campaigns using the platform can access inventory across Bauer’s full audio portfolio immediately.

Bauer says the platform is designed to deliver measurable outcomes for advertisers and improved targeting based on listening habits, location and other audience signals.
