Times Radio shows for Jane Mulkerrins and Ryan Tubridy
Times Radio is reshaping its weekend with two new afternoon presenters and a refreshed Breakfast line-up.
The station has confirmed Jane Mulkerrins will host Saturdays from 1-4pm, while Ryan Tubridy takes the same slot on Sundays, as part of a schedule update launching later this month.
They replace Chloe Tilley and Alexis Conran.
Jane, associate editor of The Times Magazine and a regular Times Radio voice, will front a weekly programme blending news, politics and culture, drawing on contributors from across the newspaper and the wider arts world. She said: “I’m thrilled to be joining Times Radio’s brilliant team of presenters on a regular basis, bringing news, politics, culture and a sprinkling of showbiz to Saturday afternoons.”
Ryan joins the station with a Sunday show built around current affairs, books and interviews, reflecting a broadcasting career spanning radio and television in Ireland and the UK. He said: “We’ll have an eclectic mix of news and reviews. From politics to culture, we’ll tell you what you need to know.”
Alongside the afternoon changes, Rosie Wright will co-host Times Radio Breakfast with Calum Macdonald from Friday to Sunday, 6-10am. Rosie previously presented Early Breakfast and now steps into the weekend edition of the programme.
Chloe Tilley and Alexis Conran are stepping away from their weekend roles to focus on other media projects, following several years with the station.
Programme Director Tim Levell said the new appointments reflected Times Radio’s editorial approach and thanked departing presenters for their contribution.
The updated schedule begins on Friday 20 March, with Jane’s first show on Saturday 21 March and Ryan’s debut on Sunday 22 March.
