TRIC Awards 2026 voting opens for one month
Voting starts as the Television and Radio Industries Club Awards public ballot opens for 2026 radio contenders.
Listeners can now back this year’s TRIC Awards nominees, with radio names again included alongside television and online categories.
The public vote opened this week and runs until 5pm on Monday 17 April 2026, with the final shortlist due in May.
Winners will then be announced on Tuesday 23 June at Grosvenor House in London.
For radio, the longlist includes returning winners such as Heart Breakfast with Jamie Theakston and Amanda Holden, as well as podcast title Staying Relevant, as TRIC opens another public vote covering broadcast and online output from 2025.
TRIC says the 2026 longlists were drawn up by a new voting panel made up of companies from across the media sector, including Bauer Media, BBC Radio 2, Global, TiVo, Tubi and Sky Sports News.
Voting is being run for a third year with TiVo, and people who take part can also enter a prize draw for two ceremony tickets and a 55 inch Smart TV Powered by TiVo.
The awards will support Refuge and Bright Young Dreams this year. TRIC describes Refuge as “the UK’s largest provider of specialist support for venerable women and children experiencing domestic abuse”.
