Lisa Maffia will host a new Sunday afternoon show on Capital XTRA from early April.
The musician and presenter takes over the 12pm to 4pm slot, starting on Sunday 5 April as part of the station’s Fully Reloaded Easter weekend programming.
Lisa first appeared on the station as a guest before presenting a New Year’s Day takeover at the start of this year. Now, she joins permanently, with a weekly show broadcast across both Capital XTRA and Capital XTRA Reloaded.
Her show will focus on late 1990s and early 2000s music, featuring old skool Hip Hop and R&B alongside tracks from the same era. The show will also form part of the wider Fully Reloaded brand heard on the station.
Lisa rose to prominence as a member of So Solid Crew, and later released solo material before moving into presenting and fashion.
Speaking about the new role, Lisa said: “I’m buzzing – this is a real full-circle moment for me. Sundays are about vibes, energy and real connection, and that’s exactly what I’m bringing.”
Managing Editor Matt Deverson said the station had worked with Lisa following her earlier appearance and welcomed her to the Sunday line-up.
