Cambridge Radio will broadcast live from the Cambridge Folk Festival as it returns to Cherry Hinton Hall on Saturday 1st and Sunday 2nd August, forming the centrepiece of a new city-wide programme.
Presenters Julian Clover, Linda Ness, Steffi Callister, Gavin Richards and Les Ray will host artist interviews, live performances and conversations with those involved in making the festival happen.
The broadcasts will also highlight Cambridge’s music community and the ongoing significance of the festival to the city.
Julian Clover, Editorial Lead at Cambridge Radio, said the station’s coverage aims to share the festival experience with the community, including those unable to attend in person.
